Solana ID, the fastest growing and leading identity solution on Solana, needed to scale their community engagement while maintaining quality interactions. With thousands of daily social interactions to track and verify, they needed a solution beyond basic community tools.

Enter Domino — the automation platform that transformed their community growth.

"If you're looking for a tool that helps you 10x your community within a couple of weeks and also 10x the engagement within your existing community, then Domino is definitely the tool that you should use," says Pierre Stoll, Co-founder and CMO of Solana ID.

The Results

In just two months with Domino, Solana ID achieved:

  • 20,000 Priority Pass NFTs minted
  • 16,000+ new Twitter followers
  • 9,000 active Discord members
  • 7x increase in content reach
  • 100,000 views on their most successful video (vs 15,000 without automation)

The Challenge

Solana ID runs an extensive Priority Pass campaign where users can mint NFTs and connect credentials to rank up for better airdrop rewards. But they struggled to expand beyond basic engagement tasks.

"We were just clueless about what else we can do besides the very basic stuff," Pierre explains. "That's where Domino came in."

The Solutions

Domino enabled Solana ID to automate their community engagement on multiple fronts:

Automated Quest Creation

Before: Managing social media engagement was manual and limited:

  • Each Twitter post required manual quest creation on Zealy
  • No way to verify quote retweets
  • Content reach limited by manual quest creation delay
  • Team spent significant time coordinating cross-platform engagement

After implementing Domino's automation:

  • Twitter posts automatically create Zealy quests
  • Members can immediately engage through likes, replies, and quote retweets
  • Automatic verification of engagement
  • Real-time quest creation increased participation

"Whenever we posted something on Twitter, there was automatically a quest for that post on Zealy published. People could just go to Zealy, then they see that quest, they go to Twitter, they like, they reply to our content and most important thing, they also quote retweeted our post," Pierre explains.

The impact on their content reach was dramatic:

"When we used this feature, we almost had 5 to 7 times reach compared to our followers. One of our most successful videos reached 100,000 views."

The difference became clear when they temporarily stopped using the automation:

"Now we are not using that anymore since the Sprint ended... and the last video we posted for example was around 15,000 views, so a bit lower than the amount of followers we have."

This automated approach allowed them to focus on content creation while ensuring maximum engagement:

"You could already feel the boost when it comes to the reach of our content because right now we are not using that anymore since the Sprint ended."

Discord AMA Attendance Verification

Before: Their weekly community calls, called "Solid Talk," faced significant verification challenges:

  • Manual Google Forms for attendance tracking
  • No way to verify if form submitters actually attended
  • Fraudulent submissions nearly doubled genuine attendance

"We had for the first couple of calls around 150 to maybe 200 people in there. But in the form itself there was almost double submissions," Pierre explains. "We already knew that some people just took the form and sent it to their friends, and then they also submitted the wallet address."

The manual system made it impossible to verify genuine participation:

"We couldn't really track properly if this person was really in the call or not. That's where Domino helped us a lot."

After implementing Domino's automation:

  • Automatic recording of Discord call participants
  • Direct linking of wallet addresses to Discord accounts
  • Streamlined NFT distribution to verified attendees

"They created an automation for us where everyone who actually joins this talk on Discord will be recorded into a table. Then you can just download that table with all the wallet addresses connected to the Discord account and then we can distribute the NFTs from there."

The result was a fraud-proof attendance system:

"That's how we could make sure that everyone who gets the NFT was also attending in the call itself."

🪷 Reward System

Before: No systematic way to track genuine community contributors or reward helpful behavior.

After: A three-tier recognition system:

  • Moderators give 🪷 reactions to helpful community members
  • Each reaction automatically awards 50 XP on Zealy
  • After collecting three 🪷 reactions, members automatically receive a special role

"Whenever someone was very helpful in our community, we gave them a 🪷 reaction because our logo from Solana ID is also a Lotus flower. Everything is about karma, being a good human being, and then you get something good in return," Pierre explains.

The system helped identify and reward genuine contributors:

"We could track better who are the core contributors to our community, who are the most active people. And then we use that role in our Priority Pass campaign to give them another boost in their lane number. We made sure that everyone who got this role, this very special and rare role, would be in the best airdrop class of our campaign."

This created a powerful incentive for positive community behavior:

"As soon as the community figured out the rules about how to get the special role, people were scrambling to be the fastest to help out newcomers. So we got hundreds of moderators within a few weeks that were all working for us voluntarily because they just wanted to get that role."

The impact extended beyond just identifying contributors - it transformed their community management:

"Our actual moderators, they could just lean back, you know, and enjoy the party. Even though they were still observing in the chats, they had to be less active when it comes to actually helping out people or answering questions."

Responsive Support

Pierre particularly valued Domino's hands-on approach:

"Instead of putting more load on our shoulders, you actually took some load from our shoulders. Whenever there was something not working, you guys took care of it within a few minutes or maybe up to an hour."

Looking Ahead

Solana ID is exploring deeper integration between their platform and Domino's automation capabilities, particularly around ZK proofs with Discord roles.

"You guys came up with ideas how we can engage our community better. You helped me a lot with the implementation. And whenever there was something not working, you guys took care of it."

Advice for Others

For Web3 projects looking to scale their community engagement while maintaining quality interactions, Pierre's advice is clear:

"There's a lot of projects that we could send over to you. Whenever I talk with projects about how we blew up, they ask us how we did that. And of course, I always tell them about Domino."

In an ecosystem where community growth is critical, Domino has become an essential tool for Solana ID. By automating verification work and creating self-sustaining reward systems, they built a thriving community that continues to grow organically.
